Dzogchen practice
Look at what is looking
When you need the shortest possible return.
How to do it
Without moving the eyes, notice the awareness that is looking. It has no shape, no colour, no edge, and it is not troubled. Stay for a few seconds.
Where it comes from
Dzogchen, the Great Perfection, is a Tibetan tradition that points to the natural, already-awake state of awareness. Rather than building something new, practice is recognising what is already present and resting in it.
Drawn from The Treasury of the Fundamental Nature by Longchenpa, with the Buddha-Nature works.
